New semester, new apartment, new room...the start of something new

The Fall 2008 semester has just started and the first week of it just ended.

The first week of the semester was alright...(Life is getting tougher week after week *sigh*)

I'm staying in a new apartment this semester, not a very luxurious but comfortable place to stay I would say. It's just few blocks away from Electrical Engineering building, where most of my classes are there. So, it's kinda convenient for me to walk or cycle there or maybe it's not a need to cycle there. I can actually walk to class 5 minutes before the class or lecture actually starts.

This is actually the living room and kitchen of my apartment. It was kinda in a mess when I reached. Now, it's clean!

Yeah, this is my one and only room! Ignore the sonic and the bull doll...:P I got those from Florida and I have no place to put those dolls at.Haha...

Well...I guess I'm gonna beautify my room and apartment soon. Now, the apartment is still lack of telly and sofas. We shall get them soon.

I seriously gonna enjoy all the semesters ahead. 3 more years to go!

Happy 51st birthday, Malaysia!

Farewell

After staying here for almost three months, finally, the time has come.

Time for me to get back to my normal life...

No, it doesn't mean I'm having an abnormal life here.

I have been doing nothing since I came back. I did nothing important during this summer other than learning chinese (really :P), meeting old friends and spending some quality time with family and relatives.

I'm leaving in less than a week...

Mixed-feeling...

My 20 years of life as Batholomew, Batho, Bat and Betho...

Yes, I have been living in this world for exactly 20 (twenty) years already. I just bid farewell to number 1 who had been following me for 10 years of joy and sadness. I might be seeing number 1 again after 80 years or maybe not...I don't know...we'll see...

Although I'll be seeing number 1 again next year, number 1 would just be my number 2's temporary assistant...

When number 2 came to me early this morning around 12am, number 2 told me that he'll bring an egg together with us for one year.

I received a lot of birthday wishes few minutes after the number 2 came to me. Thanks, my good friends....

20 years is not a big deal for people like my parents because they have been living in this world like more than 50 years. My parents are undeniably great people.

"What have I learnt after 20 years?" I have been asking myself and pondering all this while.

Well, flashing back at the past, my life back then was not as 'easy' as it is now. I'm not saying I'm getting well-off every year. What I meant was my life from a toddler to a teenager.

My birth place is Sibu. Supposedly, my birth place is Sarikei. LOL. Since I was so reluctant to come out (because it was so comfy inside and I had some business to do), my mother thought it wasn't the time to give birth yet though it was supposed to be the time already. Hence, she travelled to Sibu. Since the business inside no longer needed me and my contract with the company inside ended on the July 21st 1988, I decided to come out from my comfy office room at 4.15pm (my office hour ended at that time). I came out like a superman with a lot of people smiling, anticipating for my arrival. I was so shy because I forgot to put my clothes and everything on. My face was so red until it bled and blood was all over my body because I was too shy.

From then on, my saga begins...

I can't really recall back what I actually did when I was in primary school. I only remember that I played a lot and was forced to study. My parents are strict when it comes to study. That's why I feel tensed when studying. Though, I would never blamed them for being strict because I know I won't be who I am today without them being strict and motivate me all the time. UPSR, PMR and SPM proved these all.

Secondary school years were the best ever years I had ever gone through so far. However, after spending 5 years in high school, I would say that I wasted my days being a high school student. And the main reason is...

I went to school early in the morning around 7am and got back home around 2pm. It's either I would stay at home in the afternoon and night or I'll be in tuition. After tuition, went back home and did some school work...and then sleep...

Don't you think it was a waste???

2005 was my last year of high school. After getting my SPM result, the next thing I did was applying for scholarship.

Really thanks God...that I got it...made it to America...

That's why...I'm here...writing this blog, reminiscing of the past...

My birthday wish...

"Untuk menjadi masyarakat yang berguna kepada bangsa dan negara..."

if that's what everyone wants me to be...

Peace out!!!

1. Each blogger must post these rules first.
2. Each blogger starts with 8 random facts/habits about themselves.
3. Bloggers that are tagged need to write on their own blog about their 8 things.
4. At the end of your blog, you need to choose 8 people to get tagged and list their names.
5. Don't forget to leave them a comment, telling them that they've been tagged, and to read your blog.

1. I am impatient. must get things done as soon as possible

2. I eat alot but seldom gain weight...why?

3. I sleep alot esp this summer.

Batho is on a Hiatus?

Well, time passes damn fast...it has been almost two months I'm here in Malaysia...and I still have another freaking one month to go back to USA!

What have I been doing this summer?? Sleep, eat, bathe, meeting friends, learning Chinese...

I went to Miri last Gawai holiday for 4 days...didn't go anywhere interesting though. Stayed at home and sleep...

Anyway, three weeks ago, I went to Kuching to meet my uncles, aunties, grandpa, cousins and friends...ok, one of the partial reasons was to watch the state-level school marching band competition held in Kuching hockey stadium. I went to watch the competition for two days, one day for rehearsal and the following day was their competition.

Frankly speaking, I was impressed with their performance this year. From an underdog in marching band, my school marching band has been improving year by year (according to the comments by most people). I'm proud that they managed to get the bronze title. (p/s David, this isn't sissy ok?:P)

I went back like 3 days after the competition. My st. joe, kch friends, joo lung and jackson brought me out to eat and we went to Spring...:)

And Adrian brought me out for a drink a night before I flew back to Bintulu. He brought me out twice but the first night I had to go back early:(.

Overall, I was kinda enjoyed myself in Kuching instead of sleeping most of the time in bintulu. At least, I managed to meet my cousins, grandpa and friends.:)
